Sunday May 24th we were involved in ministry at Milwaukee Baptist Church in Butler. Phil Ace is the pastor of this church. I taught Sunday School and preached for the morning service. Carole and I provided special music and I presented the ministry of the WFBC in the AM service. Following the service we enjoyed a lunch in the church fellowship hall.

Pastor Ace has been serving here for two years and he is doing a great job of building up this ministry. It was a blessing to see a number of new people in the service. In addition to pastoring the church, Pastor Ace teaches at the Union Grove Christian School. We praise the Lord for faithful men who are willing to have bi-vocational ministries in smaller churches.

Sunday evening, May 17th we ministered at Brookside Baptist Church in Brookfield. Pastor Sam Horn is the pastor of this local church ministry. Pastor Horn was preaching out of the country and we were able to fill the pulpit for the evening service.

Church Planter Tom Ebert who is raising support for a ministry to the Jewish population of Milwaukee (30,000+) was in the service and presented his ministry. Following his presentation I shared the power point of our ministry and preached for the Evening Service. We met a number of people after the service including a lady who grew up in our home town of Lebanon.

Brookside Baptist Church has an active Spanish speaking ministry under the leadership of Pastor Rick Valdez. Also they have shown a real interest in church planting in the greater Milwaukee area with ministries such as Brother Ebert. We praise the Lord for their active interest in new churches being established in Wisconsin.

Sunday morning we were involved in the service at Calvary Baptist Church in Madison. Kevin Wall is the pastor of this local church. They currently meet in the church building of Christian church on the east side of Madison.

Carole and I provided special music for the service. I presented our ministry through power point and then preached for the AM service. The Walls have been faithful in their ministry in the Madison area over a number of years.

Sunday May 10th we were ministering at Point Baptist Church in Mineral Point. At this time Point Baptist is seeking a pastor. Carole provided a music ministry on the keyboard. I taught Sunday School and presented our ministry via power point, followed by preaching in the Morning Service. The church provided a dinner at noon allowing us to fellowship with those who were present.

Point Baptist Church has had an extended time without a pastor. They are earnestly seeking God's man for the leadership of their ministry. Pray for this local church to have a pastor to lead their flock.

We opened the month of May at the services of Northport Community Baptist Church in Kenosha. This local church is being led by Pastor Caleb Schumacher and assisted by Pastors Todd Cook and Jon Jameson. During the Sunday School hour I presented the ministry of the WFBC via power point and I preached for the Morning Service. There was an excellent crowd present for the services.

Northport Community Baptist Church is one of our WFBC Mission Church ministries. The church began services September 23, 2007 in Racine. This winter Northport merged with Community Baptist Church in Kenosha, pastored by Todd Cook. This has provided a permanent building for this ministry and doubled the attendance. Be in prayer for this new ministry that God would bring core families to this work so that it might be solidly established and fully self-supported.
