A New Church is Born in Rhinelander

Pastor Tim Collard and the people of Faith Baptist Church in Rhinelander have worked along with Eagle River Baptist Church and some other area churches to start Faith Baptist Church in Rhinelander. Bible studies began in September 2004 and regular Sunday services began March 13, 2005. Last Sunday June 26th, the Faith Baptist Church of Rhinelander pastored by Mission Pastor Mark Ring came into being.

We were able to attend along with Pastors and visitors from Eagle River, Woodruff and Pembine for the afternoon charter service. There was an all-church pot luck dinner at noon following the morning service and a baptismal service at a nearby beach all preceding the 2:00 PM charter service. Twelve members signed the charter membership form representing five families. The membership charter will be open for 30 days for some others who were not ready to sign on June 26th.

Continue to pray for this new local church as they begin the important job of forging a nucleus of faithful, committed believers into the body of Christ. If you know of someone in the Rhinelander area who is looking for a good, solid Bible preaching Baptist church, contact Pastor Ring at (715) 369-5531 or e-mail him at mring5@juno.com.
