WFBC 55th Annual Meeting

God gave Wisconsin Fellowship of Baptist Churches a wonderful 55th Annual Meeting hosted by Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown. Pastor Loggans and his people did a great job of providing a well planned program and amenities for the meeting. Dr. Matt Olson, president of Northland Baptist Bible College, gave excellent and timely challenges from the Word at each preaching session. Also a number of speakers provided informative workshops during the two-day meeting. The food was great, the fellowship was outstanding and the impact was powerful!

If not the best attended annual meeting in the history of the WFBC, it would rank right at the top. There were 75 WFBC churches represented with a total registration of almost 180 pastors, families and exhibitors. Four churches joined the WFBC, including Havenwood Baptist in Hurley, Berean Baptist in Manitowoc, Faith Baptist in Rhinelander and Ambassador Baptist in Sparta, with three individual members (pastors) joining as well.

During the business sessions a new budget was adopted and resolutions were written and approved by those present. We held our annual election for two-year terms for half of our executive committee and area representatives with the following results:
Pastor Steve Hollenbeck continues as president, Pastor John Roth continues as treasurer, Pastor Jim Stevens was elected as SouthWest area representative, Pastor Andrew Buhrow continues as WestCental area representative and Pastor Garry Thompson was elected as NorthWest area representative.

We praise the Lord for his blessing of unity, commitment, and common mind for the cause of Christ in Wisconsin. Our continuing goals are for fellowship in Christ, ongoing fruit in church planting and church strengthening and growth.
