A Sunday Ministry at First Baptist Milltown

Sunday July 9th we were ministering at First Baptist Church of Milltown where Marlon Mielke is the pastor. We were able to present the ministry of the WFBC in Sunday School as well as teach a Bible lesson. I preached in the book of Mark for the morning service. Following the services we had a wonderful time of fellowship with the Mielkes. God has used the Mielkes to see this work grow and be stabilized.

An evidence of God’s protective hand and provision was demonstrated on Saturday morning at the Mielkes. Three of their boys were traveling in a car owned by one of the older Mielke boys and they had a rollover accident. All were wearing seatbelts so they walked away with a few scratches. Pastor Mielke shared that incident with the congregation at the end of the service. A family from the church came up and indicated they had an extra car and would be willing to give it to the Mielke boy. Before we left on Sunday afternoon they had a replacement car, and it was better than the one that was wrecked. Praise the Lord for his protection and provision. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he deligheth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.”
