A Building Dedication Sunday at Faith in Rhinelander

September 17th was the building dedication Sunday for Faith Baptist Church in Rhinelander. Pastor Mark Ring is doing a great job of leading this new church family. We were able to provide special music and I preached for the AM service. Following a lunch at the church there was a 2:00 PM Building Dedication Service. A number of area churches attended with their pastors, including: Don Hawkins, Eagle River Baptist; Kurt Schroder, Woodruff; Brad Anderson, Antigo; Dave West, Crandon. Pastor Tim Collard of the mother church, Faith Baptist in Pembine was unable to attend, but he sent a letter of greeting which was read at the afternoon service.

Faith Baptist Church was organized June 26th, 2005. Just one year later, in June 2006 the First Baptist Church of Rhinelander closed and donated their building complete with contents to Faith Baptist. Faith Baptist held their first services there on July 2nd. Since that time the congregation has painted, clean-up and reorganized the building. This building was a direct answer to prayer by the members of Faith. It was a wonderful day of celebration and the anticipation for the future is that God will continue to bring growth and blessing to this new church.
