New Years Eve Service at Calvary Baptist in Watertown

On December 31st we closed out our ministry at our home church, Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown. Pastor Bob Loggans is the pastor of this growing local ministry. Carole provided special music for the New Years Eve service and I shared a report on the WFBC work in the state as well as giving a message on Paul’s “Open Door” in Ephesus.

We are looking forward to new opportunities in 2009 for the growth of the work of fundamental Baptists in Wisconsin. On Sunday January 11th I will be attending the opening services of a new Baptist church in the city of Delafield under the leadership of Pastor Dave Marriott. In addition we are praying for other news works to be started, as well as seeing real growth among the 100+ churches that make up the WFBC. Our mission pastors are all working to see their ministries come to a place of being fully self-supported and our prayer is that it might happen in this year as well.

May God grant you and your family, your ministry and the work of God a wonderful year of progress in 2009. It may be that this year will be the one of the Lord’s coming, to which we say with the Apostle John,”Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”
