Ordination Service for Pastor Phil Ace at Milwaukee Baptist in Butler

Pastor Phil defended his doctrinal statement at a ordination council on Saturday, November 12th at Milwaukee Baptist Church in Butler. The council consisting of eleven pastors voted to recommend to the church that they proceed with ordination. On Sunday afternoon, November 13th at 2:30 PM that service was held. Following music and scripture reading I preached a charge to the candidate and the church from I Thessalonians 5, reminding the church family of their duty “to know and esteem highly” their pastor, while challenging both pastor and people of their corporate and individual responsibility for ministry. The pastors present and trustees of the church laid hands on Pastor Phil Ace and led in prayer for him and his ministry. Following the service the church held a cake fellowship.

Pastor Ace has served at Milwaukee Baptist Church as pastor for the past thee and one half years. He is married to his wife Tiffany and they have two boys. We thank the Lord for our faithful pastors who have obtained good training and are diligently carrying on the work of God in the churches of Wisconsin.
