Pastoral Installation Service

Sunday August 17th we were visiting at Greendale Baptist Church. Tom Loggans is the new senior pastor of this local church ministry. Pastor Loggans has been serving for about two years as an Assistant Pastor under senior Pastor Leo Mosier. Pastor Mosier has retired and moved out of the area.

In the services on Sunday Pastor Dave Loggans of Shelby Township, Michigan taught a Sunday School lesson on “Barnabas as an Encourager.” He also preached for the AM Service bringing a challenge to the church of their commitment to their pastor. Pastor Bob Loggans, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown, preached the Installation Service in the afternoon. Both Dave and Bob are brothers to Pastor Tom Loggans. I was asked to lead in prayer for “laying on of hands” at the end of the service along with several pastors who were present as well as the deacons of the church.

The church provided a delicious noon lunch to all who were present for the services. Following the afternoon service they also served a dessert fellowship. The deacon chairman gave gifts to both Tom and Susan Loggans in honor of their new ministry. Pray for God’s blessing of their new ministry.
