WFBC Mission Director Transition

Carole and I began our ministry with the WFBC on September 1, 2001, and we have been blessed to serve the churches of Wisconsin. At the annual meeting on Sept. 21-22, I will be stepping down as Mission Director, having just begun my 20th year in that position.

God has led Dr. G. Scott Jones to accept the position as Mission Director of the WFBC. Scott and his wife, Robin, have served several pastoral ministries in Wisconsin, including a church plant several years ago in Phillips. He has recently resigned as pastor of Southport Baptist Church in Kenosha in preparation for taking on this position. We wish Scott and Robin God’s blessing as they continue the great work of ministering to and with fundamental Baptist churches around the state. Dr. Jones will begin scheduling meetings in WFBC churches soon, and this would be a great time for your church to have them in and get acquainted. He may be reached at wisconsinfellowship@gmail.com.

I so appreciate your faithful support of our ministry over the years. It has been a privilege to serve the churches in preaching, fellowship, special occasions and assisting church planting. I have been humbled that you have invited us so frequently to minister in your pulpits, to counsel and be that “second voice” for truth. Carole has truly enjoyed many ministry opportunities among you.

Though we don’t know what future ministry God has for us, for now I will be available to pulpit supply. We trust God’s promise, “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves…but our sufficiency is of God; who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament…” I remain your faithful servant.
